The translations are made and checked by specialized, professional staff, translators licensed by the Ministry of Justice. Our translation services shall be in accordance with you quality and accuracy requirements.

NOTARIZATION OF THE TRANSLATOR’S SIGNATURE::

First of all, a translation is initially certified, namely a Ministry of Justice sworn translator confirms its accuracy by setting his/her hand and seal on the translated deed.

Secondly, the signature of the translator may be notarized, the result being a notarized translation.

The price for the notarization of the translations made within our office is of:

- 50 RON / 1 copy.

- 15 RON / each additional copy.

CERTIFIED COPIES of original documents in foreign languages ** 

Unlike a certified copy of a Romanian document (which you may personally do by going to any Notary Public Office), to make a certified copy of an original document in foreign language, you need a certified translation into Romanian of that particular deed.

Collation

The collation service consists in a sworn translator proofreading and checking an existent translation. He/she is free to change the provided text as he/she deems appropriate, paying a particular attention to the grammar errors, translation accuracy, coherence and the format of the text. The translation may be delivered to the customer as a certified translation, bearing the signature and the stamp of the translator or the translation may be notarized. The prerequisite for accepting an order as “collation” is to be delivered the text in Word. The translations delivered for proofreading in non-editable formats shall be charged at the rare of a normal translation.

Urgent translations

Cerval provides its customers urgent translation services. The delivery term of the urgent translation to the customer is determined by: the size of the document, the type of the used language (a document including specialized language and terms requires more time and attention) and the source / target language. Another factor likely to influence the urgent regime is the working hours of the public institutions and of the Notary Public offices (if the deeds require notarization and superlegalization).

The urgent translation of documents is charged differently, namely the price is 50% higher than the standard one, according to the translation.

Online translations

Online translations are simple translations that do not require the signature of an authorized translator or in cases where the legalization of the document is not required. It is recommended to use a translation office even for simple translations for better accuracy of the text as well as for fast delivery.
